DuVernay on film school:
“Pick up a camera and start shooting, umm you know talk to people who’ve made films, watch DVD commentaries, go to Q & A’s. Cobble together a film school experience for yourself, umm and don’t let not being able to afford or go to film school stop you from doing anything or being less confident about your story.”
